This is a nice unit with sufficient power to both charge my laptop and iPhone at the same time. Build quality is good and with folding electric spade terminals it travels compactly. I use it with a 2 meter CtoC charging cable and it can completely recharge my laptop in a couple hours. Also, it provides enough power to recharge a low battery while under average use.I would prefer the same unit with one additional USB 3.0 port but this works well with my VAVA 8 in 1 USB C Port replicator hub to make the adapter completely suitable for complete road functionality.Other than the single USB 3 port, I can recommend it without reservations.I was looking for a higher wattage portable charger for my Lenovo X1 Yoga, HP Spectre X2 tablet and/or Spectre 360 laptop and have had a good history with the SIIG brand. As fussy as the HP machines are about 3rd party chargers, I was pleasantly surprised that this will power/charge any of these 3 devices from the USB-C PD port with the included cable and only gets warm to the touch after extended use. Add to that the Quick Charge 3 (QC3) USB port and you have serious device charging capability. Sadly, the QC3 port will only charge my Galaxy S9+ at regular speed and I tested several USB A-C cables to make sure (even a hefty USB 3.1 Gen2 Cable). However, I have tested the QC3 port with a Moto Z Droid & Moto G5S Plus and it will fast charge both of them, so it may just be the Galaxy. Of course, I can fast charge it using the USB-C port, if needed. What a great value for about the same price as an OEM HP Charger!Update#2: Continues to work great. Upgraded to 5 stars. UPDATE: The seller contacted me immediately after leaving my one-star review (see below). They offered to replace it free of charge. I received the new charger a couple days later, and it works great. The PD port charges my 45w HP Elite x2 fine. I haven't tested it on my USB tester thingy. I also plan to charge my computer (PD) and phone (QC) simultaneously to make sure it can handle both. I'll update this review as need be.Also, credit goes to e-Tek-Depot for handling the situation quickly and professionally. Upgraded to 4 stars (I have to deduct a star for the initial charger being defective, but 5 stars for service and if the charger holds up over the next few months, I'll upgrade the review to a full 5 stars).ORIGINAL REVIEW (1-star): Arrived dead. Both ports not working on multiple outlets. Confirmed with USB power tester. Please QA your products.I wanted a strong charger that could handle all my devices so I'd only have to carry one but.... 6 weeks later I'm dead in the water :) There were a lot of less expensive options but I splurged hoping a "better" brand and a higher power charger would be reliable. I'm so disappointed.Edit 1: Customer service was quick to respond. I'm moving the rating from 1 to 3 stars. I'll update again once I receive a replacement unit.Edit 2: Bumping up to 5 stars because the new unit works great and SIIG supports their products.PD and QC was great until PD port died after 4 months. At least mine lasted a little longer than those of other reviewers. Disappointed in SIIG. I expected more from them quality wise.UPDATE: E-TekDepot/Siig replaced the failed unit. Most impressively, they paid to have me send the failed one back so they could analyze the failure. Good to see they really do care about quality. Still haven't see another charger with the ability to PD charge a Mac and QC charge a phone. Perfect.Seems to work. Have a solid build and doesn't look cheap. It's a great alternative to the Macbook power brick and a lot cheaper. However, haven't used this long term but so far meets our needs. One thing you lose though is that long extension cord that you can use as an option on the Macbook power adapter. But frankly, I don't use that often unless I'm at a crowded Starbucks. But a small power strip can rectify that. The USB-C PD Port stopped working after 6 months. Didn't even use the charger that frequently. The USB-A still charges properly. And warranty service from SIIG makes you pay for shipping, even though it was a product defect. This is my second charger on Amazon. The previous one was a generic brand. This one has a US support number listed and I am glad to pay a bit extra for it. Only complaint, the USB-C chord provided is a bit short. I use this to charge a macbook pro and my phone
