I purchased the little scanner to help me scout out opportunities for using with the Amazon FBA Program. So far I have been pleasantly surprised by the performance of the Bluetooth Scanner. It has made the process of scouting for items much easier.It comes in a relatively generic package with a minimal amount of instructions included. It is no Apple packaging job. But it arrived complete and functional. I charged it from my PC USB port with the included cable. Paired it easily and quickly to my iPhone 5S as well as my 3rd Gen iPad mini. I have not gotten a bluetooth dongle yet to try with my PC, but hope too soon.The unit itself is quite small, and light. It does feel solid, but does not have much heft. It comes with a lanyard that you can wrap around your wrist to provide security.When using it to scan items it really speeds up the process compared to using the camera on your phone. The lag time is significantly decreased. You don't have to wait for the lens to find and focus on the barcode. It used an audible beep at first, but I turned that off by downloading a scan sheet from the company website. From there you can produce scan sheets to control various functions. Works well.It has reconnected to my phone or iPad easily and consistently. There is no "Hassle Factor" with the unit.I have purchased a silicon sleeve directly from the manufacturer to give it a little more protection, and am more comfortable with putting it in my bag or auto console now that it has that protection.I am happy with the purchase of the scanner and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys tools that make them more efficient and effective.
